Fun CAR RIDE game!

Need to keep the kids quiet while waiting and don’t want to overload them with digital babysitters? TRY THIS FUN GAME INSTEAD.

There are a million places when you need to “fill” the time with your kids. Most people say here’s your tablet or phone; play away! Tempting as it is, there are other ways and methods that are actually a lot of fun for your children.  It is a super easy game with very few rules, but it will always end in laughter and fun for the entire family. We played it with all our kids when they were young. If we needed to wait in the car while my husband ran in somewhere, we usually played it. If we were stuck in a waiting room, we would play it. Sometimes, we even played it while driving in the car. This is also a great game to play at a restaurant when you’re waiting for the food to arrive.

GUESS MY ANIMAL GAME

We called it – the “Guess My Animal” game. One person is “it” and picks an animal inside their head. Then, the rest of the players get to ask yes and no-type questions. Whoever guesses the animal gets to be “it” in the next round. It sounds silly and simple, but it works. Plus, everyone usually ends up learning something. You obviously tailor the questions to the ages of the kids.

For example, if “It” has picked a “cat,.”

Questions the players might ask –

Does it have fur?

Is it a wild animal?

Does it eat plants?

Does it have a tail?

Have you seen one?

And so on ….

The kids usually all love being “it” and will play as long as you need to fill your time gap.

It’s funny, but sometimes, the simplest things create forever memories. I hope you will give this game a try with your family. Enjoy!
